As the release
date of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati is nearing, the

the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai has provided security to the filmmaker
outside his office in Juhu, which is a few blocks away from Ekta Kapoor’s
bungalow, Krishna and directly opposite Varun Dhawan’s office.
We took the
opportunity of clicking the picture of the police officials stationed outside
Bhansali’s office:

He further added
that after the recent developments about a ban or delay in the release of the
film due to Gujrat polls, the security has been stepped up this morning.
He also said that
they fear an untoward incident might happen and that’s why the precautions are
being taken.
You may recall
that one of the worst incidences of violence took place earlier in Jaipur
during the shoot of Padmavati where the celebrated filmmaker was slapped by
Karni Sena representatives. For those who have come in late, here’s the video:
Last evening, SLB
also put out a clarification on social media with a video supporting it where
the filmmaker again and again emphasised on the fact that there is no dream
sequence between Alauddin Khilji and Rani Padmini.
